Abstract

The presentation will raise three basic questions: "What is the Cloud", "Are there different types of Clouds" and "Is the Cloud right for me?" In order to answer the final question some issues to consider related to Information Security will be introduced. Some of these issues are related to the classification of data, the controls available with the "Cloud" and basic risk assessment and mitigation. Examples of "Cloud" services will be used to illustrate the points. The end goal of the presentation is to provide awareness and guidelines to be used to determine if a "Cloud" solution is appropriate.
