Abstract

Our world is digital. Health records, financial records, credit card data, intellectual property and just about everything else is stored digitally on a hard drive in a server, laptop or desktop. New threats from cybercriminals and new regulations with stiff penalties for noncompliance are introduced annually. All the while our data grows exponentially. Social Security numbers end up in spreadsheets, buried amongst addresses, and other sensitive data. Health history resides on network servers, and credit card information is everywhere.

In this session Anthony will discuss traditional approaches to managing endpoint risk versus the benefits of a node by node audit for and removal of sensitive information and other undetected threats from unauthorized locations.
